In the beginning, we had a burning passion for a taste of home... Proper pies that were filled to the brim with the best quality meats, containing the right amount of gravy and completely surrounded by the finest pastry. The Proper Pie Company was founded in 2008, with a passion for good food and a chef’s knowledge of how to take great ingredients and turn them into a perfectly honed pie.

In the early days, we travelled around Florida earning our reputation at farmers markets, where the pies were snatched up by English and American customers alike. Our owner was born and raised in England and returns to the small island she calls home often. She has taken inspiration for ingredients and the menu after acquiring a proper taste for better, and yes, proper British food!
